Christine is the Greenhead Gymnastics Club Master Coach and founded the club 54 years ago. Havind had success with Yorkshire Junior and Senior Champions. She was also the coach of Karen Hargate (Seoul Olympics, 1988) and Nicola Ginnever (Student World Games, Japan 1995 and Sicily 1997). Christine was a teacher at Greenhead High School/College and trained at Bedford College of Physical Education.

In 2013 Christine received an MBE in the Queens’ Birthday Honours for her services to gymnastics and the community.

Women’s Artistic Coach level 1

Katanya coaches our General Gymnastics squad, preparing our young gymasts for thier first competitions and developing their core skills. Katanya is an x Greenhead Squad gymnasts, Yorkshire Champion on Beam and has competed at National competitions in her career.
